UGC NET Exam 2025 Age Limit and Relaxation 2025
- No Age Limit For Assistant Professorship and PhD
- For JRF: Maximum Age Limit- 31 Years as of 1 June 2025

UGC NET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- For Assistant Professorship: Completed or Appearing in a Master’s Degree in relevant subject with 55% for General/EWS while 50% for SC, ST, PwD, or OBC-NCL.
- For JRF: Same as AP
- For PhD: Same as AP/JRF or a four-year Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a UGC-recognized university with at least 75% marks.

Steps To Fill Online Form
- Candidates are required to apply online through the link given below in the link section or available on ugcnet.nta.ac.in. No other means/mode of submission of applications will be accepted under any circumstances.
- Click on New Registration and complete registration with your details.
- After Registration, log in with your Application Number and Password.
- Now fill out your Form and make a payment.
- An incomplete application will be summarily rejected.
- Candidates should have a valid personal email ID and Mobile Number. It should be kept active during the course of this recruitment process. The candidates are requested to check regularly their E-mail (all folders, including spam)/NTA website for any communication from NTA.
