(iii) Matriculates with approved apprenticeship and 5 years’ experience in the trade.

Indian Navy Civilian Physical Standard

For Fire Engine Driver Post

Physical Standards: Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test specified below:-
(i) Height without shoes- 165 centimeters, provided that a concession of 2.5 centimeters height shall be allowed for Scheduled Tribes.
(ii) Chest (normal)- 81.5 centimeters.
(iii) Chest (on expansion)- 85 centimeters.
(iv) Weight- 50 kilograms (minimum).
(v) Eye sight -6/6 without any correction (normal vision).

Endurance Test.
(i) Carrying a person (fireman lift of 63.5 kilograms to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds);
(ii) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump); and
(iii) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hand and feet.

For Fireman Post

Note:- Candidate selected for appointment to the post shall have to undergo a pre-service training of two months as prescribed by the Dockyard Fire Service and pass the prescribed test.

How to Apply for Indian Navy Civilian Musician

Candidates need to visit the official website of the Join Indian Navy or the link given in the link section.

Candidates are to register and submit their application on the recruitment website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. To save time during the application submission window, candidates can fill in their details and upload documents in advance under their user profile. The procedure for applying online is explained below.

(a) Online (e-application). Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available to enable the following:-
(i) Correct personal particulars details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate/12th class certificate.
(ii) Fields such as e-mail address, and mobile number are mandatory fields and need to be filled.

(b) All relevant documents (preferably in original), Date of Birth proof (as per 10th/12th certificates), 10th class marksheet, 12th class marksheet, and a recent passport-size color photograph should be scanned in original JPG/TIFF format, for attaching the same while filling up the application. Candidates are to take a printout of the application.

(c) If any scanned document is not legible/ readable for any reason, the application will be rejected.
(d) The application, once submitted, will be final, and no request for amendments/changes will be entertained.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
(a) Mobile phones or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action, including a ban from future examinations.

(b) Candidates are strongly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for the last date for submission of the Online application.
(c) No candidate should misbehave in any manner or create a disorderly scene in the examination premises. This will entail disqualification.
(d) Candidates should avoid submitting multiple applications. If more than one application is received from a candidate, his candidature will be canceled.
(e) The decision of the Indian Navy as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at every stage of recruitment shall be final.
