Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) or in Architecture with at least 50 % marks or equivalent from a recognised University or Institute.
Note 1: For subsequent promotion, possession of a degree of B.Ed./B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. from a recognised university or institute would be necessary.
Note: 2: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note 3: The qualification (s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority, for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates
belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection, the Competent Authority believes that a sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them |

Physical Requirements for the Warder Post under DSSSB Various Posts 2025
|
Medical Standard –
a. Vision 6/6 without glass both eyes, free from colour blindness.
b. The candidates must not have bow-legged, knock-knees, flat-feet varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision.
c. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect which is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.(A) Physical Endurance Test (PET) –a. 1600 meters race in 06 (six) minutes.
NOTE-2: Those who qualify in the race shall be further eligible to appear in the following tests:
b. 13 (thirteen) feet long jump (qualifying in 3 chances)
c. 3’9″ (three feet nine inches) High Jump (qualifying in 3 chances)(B) Physical Endurance Test (PET) for Ex-Servicemen –

How to Apply for DSSSB Various Posts 2025
|
| (1) Candidates need to visit the official website of the DSSSB https://dsssbonline.nic.in or the link given in the link section.
(2)The candidates must go through the INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING ONLINE carefully while filling up the Online Application Form for the post concerned.
(3) The candidates must submit their application through the Online Mode only. No other mode of application shall be accepted. Applications received through any other mode, i.e. by post/by hand/by mail, etc., will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
(4) The opening date for submission of online application is 08/07/2025 (from 12.00 Noon). The closing date for submission of the online application is 07/08/2025 (11:59 PM).
(5) Candidates are advised in their interest to submit the online application much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to log in to the Board’s website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days. DSSSB will not be responsible for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the stipulated time limit for any reason(s) stated to be beyond their control.
(6) Before submission of the online application, candidates must check and ensure that they have filled correct details in
each field of the online application form. Once the online application form is submitted, no request for change/ correction/ modification (including change of category) will be entertained or allowed under any circumstances. Request received in this regard in any form, like Post, Fax, Email, by hand, etc., shall not be entertained, and no correspondence will be made in this regard. Candidates will be responsible for any mistakes in the data of the application form and the fee paid by him/her.
